As part of your complete package of care, you will have a series of follow-up appointments with Chris and his team. These early appointments are primarily for suture removal, wound care and dressing changes. They also allow Chris and his team to pick up on any complications in the unlikely event they arise post surgery, in addition to the continued monitoring of your progress. Appointments are also an opportunity to check the surgery is in line with your expectations and for you to ask any questions you have.
Long term results: The later follow ups are to assess the final results and ensure you are happy. It is also an opportunity to plan for future care if appropriate.

Unless you have special circumstances or request specifically, Chris will write to your GP summarising the treatment you have received.
